2D materials have received considerable attention in the field of nanoscience and nanotechnology because of their novel physical, chemical and mechanical properties which have been found pronouncedly in the recent years. These new findings promote the development of new-concept-derived devices demonstrating potential applications in broad fields, namely advanced optoelectronics, energy and environmental science, chemical engineering, sensing and next-generation integrated circuits, etc.
In this special issue, experts from various research fronts will introduce the recent progress and main challenges in the field of 2D materials and the related devices, both in scientific and technological perspectives.
